I wasn't feeling my best today. I was very tired in yesterdays pro-am and this morning I woke up with fever. Luckily my great physical condition got me through the day. I felt decent on the course, but is not 100% well.

I made a few silly mistakes on the front nine. Didn't manage to get up and down once from the bunker today. I bunkered myself four times in the first seven holes. Had three straight forward bunker shots, but hit them to 10 feet every time and didn't make the putts. There was a great atmosphere today, with lots of crowds and playing with Montgomerie was a treat.

Hopefully when I wake up in the morning I will be refreshed and ready to fire on all cylinders. I was happy with my game today, apart from the few mistakes on the front nine. I am playing well enough to return a score in the 60's tomorrow. I need for a few putts to drop and a bit of good fortune. Last year they had 23.000 spectators and with the turnout today it looks like they will beat that record by the end of the week.

I worked a bit on my putting after the round today. Then went straight home to bed and will try and recover fully before tomorrows round, teeing off at 10:10.
