We are now mid week after playing the Willow Senior Classic at Hanbury Manor. It has taken me a little time to absorb last week and see the positives in finishing 24th with rounds of 70 - 73 - 70 for a total of 3 under par for the week. It took me some time to take it all in, because this week was very close to the last few weeks. Playing better than I am scoring. I got off to a bad start in the first round and fought back to play the last 13 holes in five under. Very happy with that performance. My next 27 holes weren't any good, being 1 over par, and then finish the last nine holes in two under with a double bogey.

I don't seem to be able to shoot more than a few under par most weeks and that is because I make too many mistakes. Going in to this week I need to focus on hitting the middle of the green when I am uncomfortable over a shot. Instead of making a stupid bogey, try and find the green and get away with a par. I am happy with my putting and most of my game. The mental side of the game is slowly improving. I will keep working on the game as I always do and then throw in more patience along with more commitment on the shots.

This week is a good test of golf. Very narrow course at times and some of the greens are tough to hit and put the ball in the right spot. Let's see how it all plays out this week.

Greetings from England.
