WINSTONgolf Senior Open, Germany. European Senior Tour.

It has been a few days since I finished the tournament at Winston. I have had a llittle break from golf, before I got the preparations underway for next weeks Senior Open in Wales today.

WINSTONgolf was a disspointment for me. I didn't play well the first day and returned the best score possible. I made changes in my stance before the second round. Opened up my left foot and it gave me less leg action and a firmer lower body. It felt really good and was happy with my progress. The swing improved again during the final round, and I hit a lot of great shots during Sunday. The score of 69 didn't reflect my score at all. I shot 73 - 71 - 69 to finish 19th on 3 under par. Not what I came for, but lots of good things for next week.

I am taking the positives with me to the Senior Open next week. This is the final major of the year and I am really looking forward to competing again on Royal Porthcawl. It is a classic links test and the weather forecast is not looking good, so it will be a tough week. Let's get the putter working and it will be a good tournament.

Rainy greetings from Denmark.
