We got delayed this morning because of rain. First tee off was suppose to be at 8:30 but we didn't start till 12 o'clock. We got paired in 3 balls instead of the original 2 balls and off two tees. I was first off on the 10th tee. Didn't play good all day. I am still fighting the over the top swing and the ball going left.

It turned out to be a very tough day on the course. I was searching for a swing during warm up, but never found it. I knew it would be a difficult day on the course, and I really did have low expectations for the round. I have changed so many things in my swing the last couple of days, that I can't recognize it now. I am very confused of what to correct, so the ball is either going right or left. I shot 79 today and because I am so steep on the ball I keep getting these shooting pains in my ligaments on the right forefinger.

A very unlike round of golf today. I was swinging the club good on the range, with focus on rhythm, during my warm up. Then I almost showed up late on the first tee, because the watch on the putting green was 3 minutes slow. I had 5 seconds to go when I showed up and was first off, so I just got my driver quickly and had to hit. Was hitting it so and so the first few holes, but then started to hit it pretty good. My playing partner hit the pin on the third shot on the par five hole, 8th and the ball was bounced 10 yards away from the pin.

It turned out to be a good final round for me, shooting 69 for a 1 under par for the tournament, to finish tied 17th and advance to the final starting on November 29 through December 2.

I searched for the swing again this morning during warm up. I found a way to turn my arms and upper body together in my backswing and that helped me getting behind the ball. I hit the ball solid all day and made a few putts. I stayed cool all day and tried to enjoy playing the Q school. There is always are more tense atmosphere at the Q school and we forget to enjoy and have fun on the course.

Played pretty well for a long time today, but could not take advantage of the birdie chances I had on the first 8 holes. Suddenly I made 3 bogeys in a row starting on hole 9. I managed to get it all back in the last 7 holes with 3 birdies to shoot and even par 72. It leaves me in tied 22 place and I will need a good round tomorrow to make sure I get one of the 23 places for the final qualifying.

I drove up yesterday from Lakewood Ranch to Orlando and played a practice round. I teed off on the 10th hole today at 8:25 and had the difficult nine holes first. It was by no means a good start. Had 3 bogeys on my first 3 holes and it was a really nervous start. I was steep on the ball and really struggled with the swing. Stayed calm and battled on, searching for the lost swing. I never found the swing, it was all hands today. I couldn't go at any pins that were hidden away on the greens, so I had to keep aiming at the middle of the green and avoid mistakes.

It was good to be back on Italian soil for a golf event. We played in the northern part of Italy by Udine, a beautiful part of Italy. The course was very wet when we got there on Tuesday and more rain poured on the course Thursday. The pro am was canceled because of rain, so it was a wet course we played all week. Not an easy course and very tricky with dog legs and a lot of shaping the ball off the tee.
