Great Place.

I have been through three rounds of golf on the two courses at Belle Mare Plage, the last three days, getting ready for tomorrows first round of the MCB European Senior Tour Final. I played the Legends for the second time today in a Pro-am. It was great to see the Legends again, which we are going to play for the tournament. It is a VERY tight course with lots of water, trees, lava and out of bounds. It is not a long course but I need to keep it in the fairway.

European Tour final stage 2012 – One shot too many!

European Tour qualifying 2nd stage was a great confidence booster, even though I suffered my greatest disappointment this year.

Going into the qualifying I was enjoying great form. I felt all aspects of my game was in good shape, except for the putting. My putting is getting better and all I needed to do was, stay patient. I had 72 holes to improve the putting, and I did improve my putting throughout the 72 holes.

Why European Tour Qualifying School!

That is a question I have been asked many times lately.

Why are you trying to qualify for the European Tour, are you not playing the European Senior Tour next year?

Yes I am playing the European Senior Tour next year. On top of that I am trying to create as many playing possibilities at the highest level possible. I need to play other tournaments than the European Senior Tour, because there are not enough European Senior Tour tournaments to play in, to stay 100% tuned.

NO. Golf is just as difficult!!

I just played the Crown Plaza Copenhagen Challenge hosted by Royal, a Challenge Tour tournament.

Sadly, I missed the cut by one stroke, shooting 73 – 74, for five over par. It was a good tournament in many ways, I swung the club really good and created a lot of birdie opportunities, mentally I was very relaxed and focused, I was very comfortable driving the ball into the tight fairways and attacking the pins. The thing I need to work on is capitalizing on the birdie chances. I am not putting well at the moment.

Welcome to my new site and a place where you can follow me and my 2nd golf career. My 2nd  golf career started up on December 9th, 2011, when my coach Leif Nyholm and I looked at my swing for the first time in 9 years. Ten months later I was voted Rookie of the year on the young guns tour “ Ecco Tour”. It was a huge surprise to me, and something I hadn’t thought was possible. Not because of my golf, but my age! Nevertheless I am very proud and a result of many good tournaments throughout the first ten months of my new Senior career.
