I was SO close to reaching my goal today and yet so far away with a score of 72. I wanted to shoot in the 60's in the strong wind and had it going all day. Got to three under through 8 holes, then missed a couple of greens and hit poor chip shots, which resulted in bogeys. Got it back to two under for the day after 17 holes and hit a good drive on the difficult 18. Had 164 yards left to the pin on the left side of the green. I couldn't get comfortable over the shot. I hit it left yesterday and couldn't get that shot out of my head.

Another windy day in Florida, which made it very tricky conditions. Only nine players under par and I shot 74, two over par. I have got ground to make up tomorrow :). It was a strange round, walking of the 18th hole I felt like I played ok, but two over par was a few too many today. I left myself in some tough spots today and made it impossible to get up and down. I also had a chip out from the trees and a three putt, that is why my score was 74. I throw 2 or 3 shots away, that I normally don't do, so that is the reason I didn't shoot under par.

Played a one day event at Lakewood Ranch Country Club today. It was tough going, because the wind got up and we had very difficult pin placements all day. With no wind, the Kings Dunes golf course is a test, today was much more than that.

Very tough day at Suntree Country Club. The wind got up and a lot of pins were either at the very back or front of the green. With greens being very firm, it was difficult to get close to the pin and get a good birdie chance.

I didn't play great, but kept making pars. Missed a lot of greens by 3 to 10 feet and was able to putt it off the green to make pars. I stayed very patient and knew pars were good. I ended up making 17 pars and one bogey for a round of 73 to be level for the tournament and finish 3rd. Happy with this result :)

Mixed bag on the course today. I didn't play well most of the day but ended up shooting even par 72. I made a couple of big mistakes, making a double bogey from a green side bunker and then an indecision on a second shot on 13. Those two mistakes cost me 3 shots, but I am happy with the score, the way I got back in the game on the back nine and kept myself level headed.

It turned out to be a very tough day, as the wind got up as the round went by. I have been playing well over the past week and is happy with my game. Obviously, it is always a lottery when it is only one round and things has to go your way to make one of the 4 spots available today. I played well and had great chances for birdies on the first 9 holes. Sadly, a couple of 3 putts snug in and resulted in early bogeis. I hit some good putts the first four holes, but the ball  just stayed on the high side, and suddenly a 3 putt from 12 feet on 5 and I was one over par.

It has been a very busy time for me, getting back to Florida almost two weeks later than planned because of missing passports from the American Embassy in Stockholm. Now we are here and enjoying every minute.

I have put in some time on the course and practice range before the first Champions Tour qualifier of the year. A new category on the Champions Tour has gotten me through to the Event (final) qualifier for each Champions Tour tournament. Good news and very motivating.

Great News from the Champions Tour.

I am 4 hours in to the flight from Copenhagen to Orlando, and on my way back to Florida. I was suppose to travel back to Florida on January 11, but it took longer for the American Embassy in Stockholm to produce my new immigrant visa. When they finally mailed the visa, my passport and the papers got lost in the mail and we had to wait for another 4 days to catch a flight. Happy to be on my way with an immigrant visa and a Green Card coming up.
