Mixed bag on the course today. I didn't play well most of the day but ended up shooting even par 72. I made a couple of big mistakes, making a double bogey from a green side bunker and then an indecision on a second shot on 13. Those two mistakes cost me 3 shots, but I am happy with the score, the way I got back in the game on the back nine and kept myself level headed.

It turned out to be a very tough day, as the wind got up as the round went by. I have been playing well over the past week and is happy with my game. Obviously, it is always a lottery when it is only one round and things has to go your way to make one of the 4 spots available today. I played well and had great chances for birdies on the first 9 holes. Sadly, a couple of 3 putts snug in and resulted in early bogeis. I hit some good putts the first four holes, but the ball  just stayed on the high side, and suddenly a 3 putt from 12 feet on 5 and I was one over par.

It has been a very busy time for me, getting back to Florida almost two weeks later than planned because of missing passports from the American Embassy in Stockholm. Now we are here and enjoying every minute.

I have put in some time on the course and practice range before the first Champions Tour qualifier of the year. A new category on the Champions Tour has gotten me through to the Event (final) qualifier for each Champions Tour tournament. Good news and very motivating.

Great News from the Champions Tour.

I am 4 hours in to the flight from Copenhagen to Orlando, and on my way back to Florida. I was suppose to travel back to Florida on January 11, but it took longer for the American Embassy in Stockholm to produce my new immigrant visa. When they finally mailed the visa, my passport and the papers got lost in the mail and we had to wait for another 4 days to catch a flight. Happy to be on my way with an immigrant visa and a Green Card coming up.

The 2015 season has come to an end and it all ended with a round in 73 strokes. It was a very good day on the course. My mind was set on having a good last round of the year no matter the score. I hit a few bad shots and was punished very hard, but stayed calm, enjoyed the day and finished with three birdies in my last four holes.

A very trying year has come to an end and all I have to do is play the MCB pro am tomorrow. A fun and relaxed day, looking forward to playing my last round of the year in the morning.

The Legends golf course in Mauritius has improved tremendously since the new head greenkeeper has taken over. A lot of improvements visually, by removing a lot of the trees and mangrove, but also the overall condition of the course had changed for the better. It is really a pleasure to play the course, but also a test of accuracy.

I am spending the night in Los Angeles having flown from Phoenix this afternoon. I will continue on a flight to Copenhagen, Denmark tomorrow afternoon and spend one night in Copenhagen before I leave for Mauritius on Monday with the whole family.

I must confess it has been a very trying and long week for me. Looking back on the week and being 3 over par after 6 holes, it was all uphill and a battle I lost. I didn't have a day where I made some putts and got going. It has been four days of frustration and I will now focus on playing the European Senior Tour in 2016.
